The Meaning Behind
Our Logo
The Sukrutham Farmstay logo reflects the spirit of the land, tradition, and heritage that define our space.
At the beginning of the logo, the paddy motif gently introduces the name “Sukrutham,” symbolizing the farmstay’s roots in agriculture, abundance, and a deep connection to nature. In Kerala’s culture, paddy fields represent life, nourishment, and the rhythm of rural living — values that are at the core of Sukrutham.
The classic serif typography of the name evokes a sense of timelessness and heritage. It reflects traditional craftsmanship, ancient construction techniques, and the cultural depth that inspires both the design and philosophy of the farmstay.
The golden tone used in the logo represents prosperity, warmth, and the richness of the land. Complementing this, green is a key brand color, reflecting Kerala’s lush landscapes — fertile fields, coconut groves, and the serenity of nature.
Together, these elements represent what Sukrutham stands for:
a place where nature, tradition, and peaceful living come together to create meaningful memories.

Founding Visionary
A Dream Realized
The story of Sukrutham began with a leap of faith. Our founder, K.P. Murali, left behind a high-paced career in a multinational corporation to return to his roots. A dream home conceptualised by the owner, who left his MNC job, to live in a place of calm and serenity - surrounded by nature's bountiful beauty - the call of Sukrutham grew stronger.
Driven by a desire for calm and a deep love for nature’s bountiful beauty, he personally conceptualized and oversaw every detail of Sukrutham—from the foundation to the final traditional finish. He ensured with his personal presence that Sukrutham was built the way he aspired her to be.
"I wanted to create a home that 'breathes' with its surroundings, offering others the same magical feeling of peace that I found here."
A storyteller, a guide, and a host who treats every guest like family, Murali’s presence is the soul of the farmstay. The place where Sukrutham was born, is a place that attracted the owner, who set about constructing the house from foundation to finish.

Sukrutham Farmstay is a masterpiece of traditional Kerala architecture. Built by using local materials and native architectural style to build a traditional Kerala style home, it has earned its reputation as a leading farm house in Thrissur.
